SafeSpace Allies – Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines

This is a space built on intention

SafeSpace Allies exists because the Alternative Relationship Community deserves better: better resources, better information, and a place where people can show up without having to explain or justify who they are. These guidelines exist to keep it that way.

Who this space is for

SafeSpace is for anyone curious about, exploring, or living alternative relationship structures. You don’t need credentials. You don’t need experience. You need curiosity, respect, and a willingness to engage honestly.

What we ask of everyone

Consent is the floor, not the ceiling.

Everything here operates on the principle that people have the right to make informed decisions about their own lives, bodies, and relationships. That principle doesn’t stop at the bedroom. It applies to how we engage online, how we share information, and how we treat each other in this space.

Respect people’s journey.

Someone’s path isn’t your curriculum. Don’t shame, correct, or redirect people who are living differently than you. Curiosity is welcome. Judgment isn’t.

No predatory behavior.

This includes targeting new or inexperienced members, misrepresenting yourself or your intentions, and using this platform to recruit, solicit, or pressure others.

Take accountability.

If you get something wrong, own it. We’re all learning. What matters is what you do next.

Protect privacy.

What’s shared in this community stays here. Don’t out people, share identifying information, or screenshot private conversations.

On alignment

Not everyone is a fit for every community. That’s not a judgment, it’s reality. SafeSpace Allies reserves the right to remove access for anyone whose behavior is inconsistent with these guidelines or whose presence creates risk for other members. We don’t need a reason beyond that, but we’ll always be honest if we have one.

Being asked to step away from SafeSpace doesn’t make you a bad person. It means this particular space isn’t the right fit right now.

Physical events

SafeSpace Allies supports and partners with event producers in the Alternative Relationship Community. Physical events have their own vetting and screening requirements separate from online community access. If you’re interested in attending events, look for information specific to those producers.

Questions or concerns

If you have a concern about another member’s behavior or your own standing in the community, reach out directly. We’re not interested in drama. We’re interested in resolution.

SafeSpace Allies is committed to building something worth protecting. Thanks for being part of it.
